Predatory Asian Fish Outlawed in State Waters

State officials have banned two species of predatory fish, Asian bighead carp and the Northern snakehead.
The species, native to Asia, “can devastate native fish populations,” K.L. Cool, director of Michigan’s Department of Natural Resources, said in Gaylord. Neither species has been found in state waters.
