A house fire displaced a family of five and caused $150,000 in damage Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
Firefighters who had just completed a medical aid call nearby about 3:15 p.m. saw smoke and followed it to a house in the 24000 block of Twig Street, said Capt. Stephen Miller of the Orange County Fire Authority.
The blaze started when plumbers used a torch in a bathroom, Miller said. It was quickly extinguished with no injuries.
