Homeless Man Is Fatally Shot by Police

Police shot and killed a homeless man who they said brandished a knife as he approached them.
The man died Tuesday morning after being shot in the Ocean Beach neighborhood.
Officers said they approached the man because he was carrying a backpack that had been in the possession of a suspected drug dealer.
