Dead Newborn Found in Trash Bin

The body of a newborn boy was found Tuesday morning in a Santa Clarita trash bin by a man searching for recyclables, authorities said.
The body was wrapped in a blanket and towel and placed in a shoe box and bag, authorities said.
The man called authorities after making the discovery about 11 a.m. in the walled trash area of an apartment complex on the 20900 block of Via Estrella.
