No One Injured in Derailment of Train

A Union Pacific railroad freight train headed to Roseville, Calif., from Portland, Ore., derailed Tuesday about 20 miles north of Sacramento, authorities said.
Of the freight train’s 86 cars, 27 went off the tracks near Lincoln shortly after 8 a.m., including cars carrying lumber, the California Highway Patrol reported.
No injuries were reported and the cause is still being investigated, a Union Pacific railroad spokesman said.
