Sharon’s Son Hands Over Documents

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s son Gilad complied with a court order and handed over documents sought by police investigating political funding, a police spokesman said.
Police said the papers could show that Sharon and his two sons used a $1.5-million loan from a South African friend in repaying allegedly illicit contributions to Sharon’s 1999 campaign to lead the Likud Party.
