Chinese police “summoned” Yang Bin, the Chinese-born Dutch citizen newly appointed governor of a fledgling capitalist zone in North Korea, a day after he promised to pay overdue taxes, his spokesman said.
Yang was “summoned according to the law” in the northeastern city of Shenyang to answer questions about alleged illegal business activities, according to the Web site of China News Service.
