Sheriff to Display Stolen Property for Recovery

The Sheriff’s Department will display stolen property today in hopes of finding its owners.
The property was stolen from homes and vehicles in the sheriff’s jurisdiction, as well as in Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Irvine and Costa Mesa, officials said. Investigators recovered about $100,000 in stolen goods, including golf carts, a hydraulic cherry picker, surfboards, cell phones and tools.
The display will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Brad Gates Forensic Building, 320 N. Flower St., Santa Ana.
