Hermosa Beach Is Site of Junior Championships

The 2002 Amateur Athletic Union Junior Beach Volleyball national championships are Saturday and Sunday at Hermosa Beach.
There will be competition in five age groups (10-under, 12-under, 14-under, 16-under and 18-under) for boys and girls.
On-site registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday. Cost is $50 a team. Play begins at 9 a.m. each day, with semifinals and finals taking place Sunday.
