Bayer Faces 2,000 Baycol Lawsuits

Bayer is facing more than 2,000 lawsuits worldwide after withdrawing its Baycol cholesterol treatment, the company said. The majority of the lawsuits are in the U.S.
The medicine has been linked to more than 100 patient deaths. The German drug company withdrew the product in August last year.
