Regarding the Aug. 1 Morning Report item on complaints about ageism in Hollywood:
I know an actress who signed with an agent, who asked her age. She answered, “26.” The agent said, “Tell casting directors you’re 22.” On an audition, the casting director asked how old she was. She answered, “22.” The casting director said, “Tell the producer you’re 19.”
