Man Drives to Hospital After Being Shot

A man shot during a possible carjacking Saturday in South Los Angeles crashed into a median in front of a hospital after driving nearly a mile with severe injuries, authorities said.
The unidentified man was in critical condition at Martin Luther King Jr.-Drew Medical Center, LAPD Sgt. R.L. Johnson said. Two men approached the man’s car near Avalon Boulevard and Imperial Highway about 4:45 p.m., and one of them shot the motorist, Johnson said.
The wounded man drove about 10 blocks before crashing into a tree, Johnson said.
