Rodman Rejects Award in Rape Case Arbitration

Former NBA player Dennis Rodman on Friday rejected an arbitrator’s $225,000 award to an actress-model who accuses him of raping her.
Tina New, the ex-girlfriend of a Newport Beach man convicted of murdering his wife, sued Rodman for $10 million Aug. 21.
Orange County Superior Court Judge David C. Velasquez appointed an arbitrator, who awarded New $225,000 on July 19. Rodman or New could have rejected the award.
