A memorial service for John McKay, the legendary coach who guided the USC football team to four national championships, will be held Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. at Bovard Auditorium on campus.
Open to the public, the service will include a video tribute to McKay and eulogies from former players and coaches.
McKay, who coached USC for 16 seasons before leaving in 1975 to coach the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, died June 10 of kidney failure because of complications from diabetes.
His USC teams were 127-40-8, winning national championships in 1962, 1967, 1972 and 1974.
