Agent: Shaq’s CD Not Vulgar

Shaquille O’Neal the gangsta?
No, says his agent, despite the hard-core rap lyrics reprinted in this week’s Sports Illustrated that suggest otherwise. O’Neal’s new CD--”Shaquille O’Neal Presents his Super Friends, Volume 1,” his fifth--will be suitable for all of O’Neal’s fans, according to Leonard Armato.
“Shaq’s lyrics and Shaq’s music will be consistent with his previous records and philosophies,” Armato said. “There will be no parental-guidance sticker on this record.”
Armato said the vulgarity-laced version of “Psycho,” the song excerpted by the magazine, would not appear on the CD, due to be released soon. Those lyrics, according to Armato, came out of a casual recording session and were not intended to reach the public.
