Sites Are Staging Areas for Children’s Artistic Endeavors

Fostering an appreciation for the creative arts in children is the goal of AdmitOne.org and Kids’ Space.

Featuring an A-list of top Hollywood participants including George Lucas, Martin Scorsese and Milos Forman, AdmitOne.org Film School teaches kids ages 12 to 17 the art of filmmaking and the rights of authorship.
AdmitOne is a project of the Directors Guild of America’s nonprofit Artist’s Rights Foundation.
Visitors can interact with peers and professionals in the Film Community section and sample student films in the Screening Room. The Artist’s Rights area helps raise awareness about how filmmakers can protect and preserve their work.

Kids’ Space

Kids’ Space was designed to provide an online resource for artistic expression and a forum for cross-cultural communication.
The Storybook, Gallery, Bean Stalk and On-Air Concert sections provide tools to create and publish original stories, art, musical compositions and collaborative projects. A game called Children’s Original Costume allows kids to match cultural fashions to countries, and Hop Pop Town offers musical learning games for younger children.
