Goodyear Taps Ex-Kodak Exec as President

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co, the world’s biggest tire maker, named former Eastman Kodak Co. executive Robert Keegan president and chief operating officer as it seeks to contain rising costs and fend off competition. Keegan, 53, assumes the posts Oct. 1. He resigned Wednesday from Kodak, where he was credited with helping to turn around the company’s main film business amid increased competition from Japan’s Fuji Photo Film Co. Shares of Akron, Ohio-based Goodyear fell 25 cents to close at $22.56 on the Big Board.
