ST. LOUIS — Running back Marshall Faulk of the St. Louis Rams will undergo surgery today to remove loose cartilage from his right knee and is expected to be sidelined for at least two weeks.
Faulk practiced Friday and went out for warmups after having the knee drained earlier Sunday, but the knee began to lock on him.
Coach Mike Martz said doctors told him Faulk would miss only two or three weeks. But Ram defensive tackle D’Marco Farr was out a month with a similar operation.
