Apparently, We Zigged Instead of Zagging

Chris Dufresne’s March 13 NCAA tournament profiles contained the interesting “Tidbit” that Gonzaga University was “founded in 1887 by Jesuit Saint Aloysius Gonzaga . . . “
This is indeed a rather startling observation in view of the fact that the boy Saint Aloysius Gonzaga died in 1591. Perhaps the university’s founding was by way of some remarkable apparition.
But, as many know, the truth is that Gonzaga was founded in 1887 by Bing Crosby.
