The City Council voted Tuesday to begin a citywide search for possible sites for a future City Hall. The city can remain in its location, at 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Suite 150, until 2004 and then must move its offices, Assistant City Manager Don White said.
The city will either buy or lease an existing facility or build a new City Hall, White said. About $3.4 million has been budgeted for the project.
