Express package shipper FedEx Corp. said it launched a premium home delivery program, designed to provide service options not available to most residential clients. The service, FedEx Home Delivery, is designed to respond to demand for better service in the home market--expected to more than double by 2003 as online purchases surge, FedEx said. The Tennessee-based shipper said the new program will include options such as money-back guarantees, expanded delivery-time windows, guaranteed select-day delivery including Saturdays, and appointment and evening delivery options. Shares fell 75 cents to close at $32.06 on the NYSE.
