The Tustin Unified School District board voted 3 to 2 Monday to require students to take a minimum of five credits of applied arts or electives, beginning with the class of 2004.
The change was made two weeks after the board voted to combine three disciplines--foreign language and visual and/or performing arts and applied arts--as one requirement for a total of 25 credits.
