The Orange County Municipal Water District, based in Fountain Valley, is giving residents free water-saving toilets. To receive a toilet, bring a current water bill and photo ID to the City Yard, 18240 Ward St., Saturday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., or the district’s headquarters, 10500 Ellis Ave., between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Residents will be limited to three toilets per household.
The toilets are top-quality, two-piece standard models valued at $110, and will include a wax ring, bolts and installation information. The new toilets must replace ones that use 3 1/2 gallons or more per flush. Old toilets must be returned to the water district Feb. 12. Information: (714) 593-4493.
