The Keith Cos. Inc., a Costa Mesa engineering company, said Monday that it has been retained by the Irvine Ranch Water District to provide final engineering and design services for the Sand Canyon A Street Water Line Project.
The project is estimated to cost $4.6 million, but Keith Cos.’ share of that wasn’t divulged.
The company said in a press release that it will prepare a preliminary design report, construction plans, a project manual and an engineer’s estimate for three domestic water and two recycled water transmission mains.
The pipelines will connect to the Shady Canyon development to the west and Sand Canyon at the San Diego Freeway to the east. Preliminary designs were completed last month, and the final design is expected in April.
