Multiple-Car Crash on 405 Injures 3, Closes 3 Lanes

Three lanes of the northbound San Diego Freeway near Euclid Street were closed for more than an hour Saturday after a multiple-car collision that sent three people to the hospital, police said.
Three to six vehicles were involved in a collision around 11 a.m., including one that rolled over the side of the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. Three people were injured. Their identities were not available.
MetroNet paramedics took two people to Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley, where they were treated and released, according to hospital spokeswoman Brenda Miller.
Emergency workers also took one person to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, but no information on their condition was available Saturday night.
The freeway lanes remained closed until 12:12 p.m., a CHP dispatcher said.
