Red Hat to Buy Hell’s Kitchen

Red Hat Inc., the top distributor of the Linux software operating system, said it will buy Hell’s Kitchen Systems, a maker of software for electronic commerce payment processing, for about $97 million in stock. Red Hat said it would issue 398,335 shares to acquire the outstanding shares of privately held Hell’s Kitchen of Pittsburgh.
