The City Council has jump-started Casa Romantica’s transformation into the city’s first cultural arts center by approving preliminary work on the local landmark.
The City Council is also seeking to hire a design team, led by an architect with experience in restoring historic property, to plan conversion of the scenic Spanish-style mansion.
Preliminary improvements will begin immediately after Casa Romantica’s tenant, Events By Design Inc., vacates in April.
