Amvac Chemical Corp. Buys Insecticide Line

American Vanguard Corp., a Newport Beach agricultural products company, said Wednesday that its Amvac Chemical Corp. subsidiary completed the acquisition of DuPont Co.’s Fortress soil insecticide business. Terms weren’t disclosed.
American Vanguard said in a press release that it has started selling Fortress products and that the sales will affect the company’s first and second quarter revenue.
