Scott Reverses Field, Returns to Alemany

Running back De’Andre Scott, The Times’ Valley co-offensive player of the year for Alemany High, has enrolled at the Mission Hills school after briefly transferring to Rialto Eisenhower.
“He had a grin from ear to ear and was hugging everybody,” Athletic Director Tim Browne said.
Scott returned to Alemany on Tuesday after starting classes at Eisenhower earlier this month.
Scott’s return is good news for a program searching for a new football coach. The school made an offer to former coach Chris Kincaid, the defensive coordinator at Irving High in Texas, but he turned it down.
Several candidates from out of state are under consideration, along with Ed Croson, former coach at Chaminade.
