The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is still searching for a man authorities say robbed a downtown bank at gunpoint last week.
Department officials have released a composite sketch of the man they say walked into the Southern California Bank at 22831 Lake Forest Drive with a handgun Thursday afternoon.
The man approached a teller, displayed a handgun and demanded cash, said Investigator Johnny Ortega of the FBI’s bank robbery task force.
The robber fled on foot into an adjacent shopping center with an undisclosed amount of cash, department officials said.
The sheriff’s department is asking anyone with information about the suspect to call Ortega at (714) 542-8825.
