City officials today will recognize longtime city employee Margaret Peters, who will turn 90 later this month. Peters has spent the last 25 years working part time at the city’s Rogers Senior Center and Senior Outreach facility.
A party will be held in her honor at 2 p.m. at Flagship Health Care, 466 Flagship Road, Newport Beach, where she is recovering from a broken hip and wrist.
