Festival of Arts exhibitors are hosting a gathering tonight to collect signatures for a petition to recall festival board members who want to relocate the long-standing Laguna Beach institution to San Clemente.
The event is open to all festival exhibitors and members who live in Orange County. Exhibitors say they need 110 signatures--or 5% of the 2,200 voting members--to force the board to hold a recall election. However, festival bylaws say exhibitors need 220--or 10%.
The event will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Art-A-Fair, 777 Laguna Canyon Road. For more information, call exhibitor Robin Hall at (949) 496-2993.
