The City Council has rejected a bid to build a skate park along with several other amenities at Richard T. Steed Memorial Park.
Hondo Co. Inc.’s $610,000 bid to build a skate park, restrooms, sidewalks, lighting and an expanded parking was over the $150,000 that was budgeted for the project.
