The Planning Commission has approved signs for the 16-acre Monarch Bay Plaza at the east corner of Crown Valley Parkway and Pacific Coast Highway.
The 5-0 decision approved Wednesday allows representatives of the William J. Cagney Irrevocable Trust to remove all existing signs and add three 10- to 20-foot signs.
The commission in June approved a 3,625-square-foot addition for a new Gelson’s Market, along with the remodeling of the shopping center’s facade and a parking-lot upgrade.
