Foundation Offering Community Grants

Ventura County Community Foundation is offering six $3,000 grants to nonprofit and community service groups.

Applicants must explain how they would use the money to fine-tune their organization’s missions, expand their services, recruit volunteers or attract more donors.

Those wishing to be considered also must attend one of two bidder conferences, either May 4, from 9 to 11 a.m., or May 9, 4 to 6 p.m., at the foundation offices, 1317 Del Norte Road, Suite 150, Camarillo. Foundation staff will be on hand to answer questions about the application process. Proposals must be received by May 22.
