Pacoima Man Shot to Death on Street

PACOIMA — Police were searching Monday for a suspect or suspects in the fatal shooting of a 56-year-old man on El Dorado Street, officials said.
Liborio Medina of Pacoima was shot about 10:30 p.m. Sunday outside his residence in the 11200 block, said Det. Frank Bishop of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill station.
Bishop said Molina was standing on the street when he was shot once in the upper torso. A son of the victim heard the shots and called police, he said.
Officers found Molina lying on the street. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
“There was not evidence of struggle,” Bishop said. “He was not robbed; it’s strange.”
