The Coalition Against Substance Abuse is sponsoring a community forum on the dangers of getting high from sniffing inhalants at 6 p.m. April 26.
A panel of experts will discuss the effects of “huffing,” especially on children. A 12-year-old Huntington Beach boy, Tyler James, died March 18 after inhaling fumes from an aerosol can.
The panel will include medical and law enforcement officials in addition to a recovering teen addict.
