KINGS-DUCKS REPORT

Two hours after scoring two goals and recording an assist in the Ducks’ loss against the Kings, Teemu Selanne made the rounds outside the Arrowhead Pond, signing autographs and posing for photos with fans.
“This game was like our whole season,” Selanne said. “We played pretty well, but we always find a way to do mistakes that cost us the game. Everybody has to be honest and look in the mirror. We were so inconsistent. We have to start learning how to play well consistently.
“Our season was like a roller-coaster. We would play some great games and then we just disappeared. Of course, it’s a long season and everybody will have ups and downs, but the teams that win are the ones that find a way not to have losing streaks too often.”
