City officials will be getting an update on the historic Stage Stop Hotel renovations during a study session Tuesday. The hotel, across the street from City Hall on Beach Boulevard, is undergoing a face-lift as its exterior is stripped.
The building at one time was a popular watering hole for stagecoach travelers and most recently was a residence for a family of 11. It will house the Buena Park Convention and Visitors Office as well as the city’s Chamber of Commerce. About $476,000 was set aside for the project, expected to be completed in June.
The study session will begin at 5 p.m. at 6650 Beach Blvd.
