Woman Shot Twice in Head at Bowling Alley Party Is in Critical Condition

A woman shot twice in the head Saturday night during a private party at a Westminster bowling alley remains in critical condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange, authorities said.
Westminster police received a call about shots being fired at the Press Box, a nightclub at the Westminster Lanes bowling alley, at 11:51 p.m. The victim, Claudia Perez, 27, was attending a baptismal celebration when an unknown number of people who did not know the party-goers were denied entrance to the club.
Those people later returned, and one of them began shooting with a handgun, hitting Perez. They fled. Police do not have a description of the assailants or of any vehicle they may have been driving.
