Mark Keppel 40, Hoover 6--Jerry Diaz rushed for only 21 yards in 14 carries, but he scored all six of his team’s touchdowns to carry the Aztecs (2-1) at Keppel.
Diaz scored on runs of one, two, three and six yards, and added touchdowns on a 21-yard pass from David Tran and an 82-yard punt return. John Paul Arias led Keppel with 173 yards rushing in 14 carries.
Keppel led, 24-0, at the half. Hoover (1-2) scored next on a one-yard run by Sam Partida midway through the third quarter. Josh Witkop rushed for 128 yards in 14 carries for the Tornadoes.
