7:30 TONIGHT CAL STATE FULLERTON
El Toro got a taste of what a physical and athletic team looks like in Hawaii, where it played Kamehameha. “That was the best team I’ve played in my nine years here,” said El Toro Coach Mike Milner, whose team lost, 25-9. Milner is also pretty impressed with Servite, which has won two of three games against top-notch competition. Milner figures his team will have to control the ball if it is going to have a chance. “Our defense was on the field for 74 plays [last week] against Western,” he said. “Obviously, we can’t allow that to happen this week. We’ll have to run the ball and be successful on third down.”
