Sebastian Janikowski kicked five field goals during No. 1 Florida State’s 42-11 victory over North Carolina State. Janikowski, whose 27 field goals last year were two short of an NCAA record, has nine field goals in the first three games for Florida State.

Ohio State hasn’t lost to an in-state college since falling to Oberlin, 7-6, in 1921. The Buckeyes have never lost to another Ohio college in the 78 years of games at Ohio Stadium.

The 23-14 loss to Michigan State dropped Notre Dame to 0-3 vs. the Big Ten this season after the school spurned the conference’s offer to join in February. Irish Coach Bob Davie is 2-7 against the conference in his three seasons.
