Manual Arts 42, Inglewood
Marco Aceituno passed for 310 yards and three touchdowns and George Gillett had four receptions for 108 yards and a touchdown to lead the Toilers (2-0).
Palisades 61, Santa Monica 37
David Koral passed for 343 yards and five touchdowns and receiver Geoff MacArthur had three touchdown catches for the Dolphins (1-1).
Carlsbad 40, Santa Margarita 20
Carlsbad scored on its first six possessions to build a 33-3 lead. Santa Margarita had five turnovers.
CITY SECTION
Franklin 50, Grant 25
Daniel Gonzalez completed 35 of 44 passes for 375 yards and five touchdowns and also ran for two scores to lead the Panthers (2-0) at Grant.
Hamilton 25, Jordan 14
McKenzie Brown scored on pass plays of 16 and 65 yards to lead the Yankees (1-1). Marcus Whitehead rushed for 100 yards for Jordan.
Westchester 32, Washington 0
Sam Cunningham gained 143 yards and scored a touchdown and Cameron Clayton gained 112 yards and scored twice for the Comets (2-0).
Locke 27, Taft 21
Alvin Marshall rushed for 147 yards and scored three touchdowns, including a 91-yard kickoff return, to lead the Saints (1-1) at Locke.
SOUTHERN SECTION
Loyola 41, Mira Costa 21
Taylor Williams gained 203 yards in 15 carries and scored three touchdowns to lead the Cubs (2-0).
Bishop Amat 17, Tustin 13
Tustin had a first and goal from the three late in the fourth quarter, but Bishop Amat (2-0) stopped the Tillers on downs.
Mayfair 22, Lakewood 14
Lakewood had third and goal at the one, but Mayfair defensive back Michael Bragg intercepted a pass and returned it 101 yards for a touchdown on the final play.
Cathedral 61, Burbank 22
Robert De La Cruz passed for 411 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the Phantoms (2-0).
