El Camino Real 28, Chaminade 6--The Conquistadores had one more Graham than Chaminade could handle, as running back Justin Graham ran for two touchdowns and quarterback Jonathan Graham passed for two more in a game at El Camino Real.
Rushing 18 times for 77 yards, Justin started the evening with a four-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and finished with a 39-yard score late in the third quarter.
In between, Jonathan Graham threw touchdown passes of 37 and 14 yards, the first to--who else?--Justin and the second to Kenton Morris.
Chaminade stayed close in the early going as receiver Eric Zdenek scored on an 87-yard pass play from Jon Palacios. Having missed last week’s opener with the flu, Zdenek looked fully recovered, catching six passes for 183 yards.
