Paraclete 26, St. Monica 6--With Cardinal Roger Mahoney standing on their sideline, the Spirits (2-1) scored on four of their five first-half possessions at St. Bernard High.
Robert Fockaert threw touchdown passes of 21 and 23 yards, and ran 13 yards for a third score just before halftime.
Sophomore Curtis Brown ran for 121 of his 134 yards in the first half, and threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Craig Herrera on Paraclete’s first possession.
Fockaert completed eight of 14 passes for 108 yards.
The Spirits were without Michael Washington, the 1998 Division XII co-offensive player of the year, after he suffered a concussion last week.
