Twins Know Roles at Montclair Prep

Coneheads and Klingons are flourishing in Montclair Prep’s backfield.
Identical twins Jason and Justin Goss played young Coneheads in the 1993 movie starring Dan Aykroyd. A year later, Justin played the Klingon son of Worf in several television episodes of “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”
“I had to order special football helmets to fit them,” Coach George Giannini said.
If only the twins had warp speed, Giannini would be really thrilled.
But Giannini isn’t complaining. Running back Justin rushed for 143 yards and quarterback Jason threw a 36-yard touchdown pass last week in the Mounties’ 27-13 victory over Santa Ana Calvary Chapel.
The 16-year-old juniors are difficult to separate and have a fun time fooling everyone--coaches, teachers, girls.
“We get our mom sometimes too,” Justin said.
On the football field, they use their closeness and instincts to help each other.
“We have the sixth sense between us,” Jason said.
Added Justin: “I have a feeling what he’s going to do most of the time.”
