Metalclad Posts $1.5-Million 3rd-Quarter Loss

Metalclad Corp., a Newport Beach-based insulation and asbestos treatment company, posted a net loss of $1.5 million, or 35 cents a share, for the third quarter, higher than the loss of $835,000, or 27 cents a share, a year ago.
Revenue declined slightly to $2.56 million from $2.6 million.
During the quarter, Metalclad sold its stakes in three Mexican units.
