The Child Guidance Thrift Shop has updated its look with new carpet, paint and clothing racks.
The store has been at the same location, 7691 Knott Ave., since 1971 and is run by volunteers. Proceeds from the sales are donated to the Child Guidance Center’s child abuse program.
Store hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
