Cigarette Butts

We all know people who smoke. I am not a smoker, but do have a concern I feel compelled to address: The driver who carelessly tosses the end of his/her cigarette out the window. I really became annoyed with this behavior last week. Three times (in one day) I witnessed this action. On one occasion, if my passenger window had been open the cigarette would have been tossed right into my car.

This is a form of littering (and a fire hazard). If you smoke in your car, dispose of your cigarette inside your car. Please don’t use the street as your ashtray.
